I have tongue tie. I am getting it removed with a laser at the dentist?

I am 15 years old and my tongue is tied. I am having it removed with a laser at the dentists. I am worried my speech will be impaired after the surgery. After the surgery i have 2 weeks to recover until i go back to school Do you think speech will be a problem? Obviously the dentist will not provide speech therapy afterwards? any ideas what i could do

it just taked 2 - 3 days to heal. Infact you can talk better after the surgery
I do not know a whole lot about the surgery but I would tell you that the best thing to do is look up the surgery and see if you can find any information about how it will affect your speech. no you will get the hang of it when it happens after a week it will definetly recover there are too many things going on inside your mouth to save it so do not worry you will catch onto the speech imeadiatly
